At Yongsa, we make champions! which includes but is not limited to tournament champions. We also believe in being champions for the community, environment, education, and much more. We try to focus our policies and activities on practices to help us achieve our mission. Look for mission badges across the site to see how each program supports that goal.
Understanding our mission explains our approach to instruction: we embrace martial arts as a sport, and tournament participation is required to advance in rank. Many families enroll themselves or their child in martial arts to develop self-discipline, and we make that growth a core part of every class. Competition is a vital step in becoming a champion—it tests focus, commitment, and perseverance. We emphasize moving from good to great through attention to detail, punctuality, respectful conduct, and follow-through. If high expectations, rigorous training, and habits that strengthen self-discipline are what you’re after, Yongsa is the school for you.
We did it again — and we couldn’t be prouder! Cobb Life Magazine, published by the Marietta Daily Journal, has once again named Yongsa Martial Arts one of the Best Martial Arts School in Cobb County for 2025!
This marks our sixth consecutive win, a huge testament to the incredible spirit, dedication, and support of our Yongsa Family.
